Chaga now available!

As you may know, we're at the northern end of the Appalachian Trail and about an hour from two Provinces of Canada, all in the shadow of Mt. Katahdin and more than 200,000 acres of some of the most pristine forest in the country. Prime Chaga mushroom country!  Wild birch trees grow in northern climates, north of the 45th parallel where they have to endure challenging weather conditions. It is these nutrients which Chaga draws from and concentrates. Rather than soft like a mushroom, chaga is hard, almost as hard as wood. It is unique, nothing like common mushrooms. In fact, chaga is the most nutritionally dense of all tree growths. Known by the Siberians as the “Gift from God” and the “Mushroom of Immortality,” this vibrant growth has been used by humans to support health for thousands of years. In addition to nature photography we also sell Chaga!
